Role Summary
As a Sales Development Representative - Enterprise, you will play a crucial role in driving pipeline growth by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing high-value enterprise prospects. Collaborating closely with our sales and marketing teams, you’ll help generate new business opportunities and engage senior decision-makers within the construction and ERP software sectors.
This role is within our Enterprise Division, where our solutions are built within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It provides an excellent opportunity for you to make a career in enterprise software sales.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect and Generate Leads – Research and identify potential enterprise accounts through outbound calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other prospecting techniques.
Qualify Opportunities – Engage with C-level executives and key stakeholders to understand their business needs, challenges, and interest in Eque2 solutions.
CRM Management – Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system to track prospect interactions and sales activities.
Collaboration with Marketing – Work closely with the marketing team to refine messaging, target ideal customer profiles, and optimize lead-generation efforts.
Stay Informed – Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and Eque2’s evolving product suite to effectively communicate value to prospects.
Hit and Exceed Targets – Consistently meet or exceed key performance metrics, including call volume, talk time, meetings booked, and sales pipeline contribution.
What we’re looking for
- 1-3 years of experience in a B2B sales development, business development, or lead generation role (preferably in SaaS, ERP, or construction technology).
- Proven track record of exceeding prospecting and pipeline generation targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to engage with senior decision-makers and handle objections effectively.
- Experience using CRM tools like Sales Hub, Lead Forensics, Sales Navigation, or similar.
- Able to effectively communicate verbally and write compelling professional emails.
Advantageous
- Experience in a profiling, account management, and/or business development role for a software-related environment.
- A broad understanding of the construction industry would be useful.
- Some understanding of financial / accounts packages – preferably Sage.
